Following the recent unauthorised encampment at Caldicot Leisure Centre, Monmouthshire County Council has proceeded with legal steps, in line with our established protocols and Welsh Government Guidance. 

Engagement with individuals on site is ongoing and we continue to carry out the necessary checks.

Monmouthshire County Council is aware of an unauthorised encampment at Caldicot Leisure Centre and is following established protocols and Welsh Government guidance. We will be engaging with those on site and carrying out the necessary checks, while appropriate legal steps are considered.
